Smotrich and Feiglin Advance Talks to Unite Religious Zionism and Zehut for Elections

Bezalel Smotrich, chairman of the Religious Zionism party, is engaged in advanced negotiations to form a technical bloc with Moshe Feiglin's Zehut party ahead of the upcoming elections. According to reports, Feiglin is expected to receive the second realistic spot on the joint list, along with additional positions, although the exact details have not yet been finalized. The primary goal of these talks is to ensure the combined list surpasses the electoral threshold, especially after the entry of Ofer Winter into the race caused Religious Zionism to fall below the threshold in most polls.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is not directly involved in these discussions but has been informed about them and supports the initiative in principle. Both Smotrich and Feiglin have confirmed that negotiations for a potential union are underway, aiming to strengthen their electoral chances by consolidating their voter base.
