Poll: United Religious Zionism and Zehut Parties Could Garner 5 Seats

A new poll indicates that a joint list formed by the Religious Zionism party and the Zehut party could secure 5 Knesset seats. Without such a union, the Religious Zionism party, led by Bezalel Smotrich, would fall below the electoral threshold, while a party led by Ofer Winter would enter the Knesset in its place.

The poll, conducted by Midgam and aired on Channel 12, also shows that if Smotrich and Zehut leader Moshe Feiglin unite, their combined list would receive 5 mandates. In this scenario, the "Yashar!" party would lead with 24 seats, followed by Likud with 23, and a joint list of Naftali Bennett and Yair Lapid ("B'Yachad") with 15. The Democrats would receive 11 seats, Yisrael Beiteinu 9, United Torah Judaism 8, Otzma Yehudit 8, the Joint List 7, and Shas 7.

In the scenario where Religious Zionism and Zehut do not unite, Religious Zionism would receive only 2.6% of the vote, falling short of the 3.25% electoral threshold. Similarly, the "Blue and White" party led by Benny Gantz and the "Reservists" party led by Chili Tropper and Yoaz Hendel would also fail to pass the threshold, each receiving 2.6%. Zehut itself would garner 2.1%.

Ofer Winter's "Am Yisrael" party would receive 4 seats, as would Ra'am. The poll also projects that if Gantz and Gilad Erdan were to run on a single list, "Yashar!" would still lead with 24 seats, Likud with 23, and "B'Yachad" with 15. In this hypothetical, the united Smotrich-Feiglin list would secure 5 seats, and Winter's party would not pass the threshold. The bloc supporting Netanyahu would receive 50 seats, while the bloc opposing him would secure 59 seats.
