Israel Airports Authority will reopen Terminal 1 at Ben Gurion Airport to handle expected summer passenger growth. Domestic flights will resume from the terminal on Sunday, June 28, 2026, and international flights will follow on July 1.
The reopening is intended to ease heavy seasonal demand and improve the passenger experience at the airport. Terminal 1 had been closed for months before this return to service.
Travelers are being asked to check in advance which terminal their flight departs from so they can arrive on time. The Airports Authority said passengers should also confirm details directly with their airline and through its official information channels.
