Israel Airports Authority said Terminal 1 at Ben Gurion Airport will reopen to handle the expected rise in passenger traffic during the summer months. Domestic flights will resume from the terminal on 28 June 2026.
International flights will follow four days later, returning to Terminal 1 on 1 July 2026. The move comes as demand for flights is expected to increase, partly because of political and security developments in the region and preparations for broader operations at Ben Gurion Airport.
The authority urged passengers to check in advance which terminal their flight departs from in order to avoid delays and arrive on time. Travelers were also asked to verify details and any changes with their airlines and through the Airports Authority's official information channels.
