Israeli Sailors Dominate Second Day of World Championships in England

The second day of the Windsurfing World Championships in Weymouth-Portland, England, concluded with Israeli athletes maintaining strong performances, particularly in the women's division. Tamar Steinberg continued her dominance, holding onto first place overall after finishing heats with rankings of 7, 2, 9, and 1. Shahar Tobi climbed to sixth place, achieving consistent top-10 finishes with results of 4, 1, 5, and 9.

Sharon Kantor significantly improved her standing, moving from 16th to eighth overall. Her performance on the second day included finishes of 33, 3, 3, and 3, placing her among the top ten competitors. Daniela Peleg, however, struggled to find her form, remaining in 31st place overall after heats of 17, 19, 18, and 37.

In the men's competition, Yoav Omer remained steady in fourth place, securing finishes of 2, 22, 2, and 33 in his heats. Tom Reuveny made a substantial leap, entering the top ten and securing fifth place with daily results of 1, 4, 6, and 2. Yoav Cohen improved his position to 23rd overall with finishes of 3, 28, 10, and 22.

Further down the men's rankings, Tomer Vardimon placed 27th overall, a drop from his 17th position the previous day, after completing heats with rankings of 8, 19, 28, and 26.
