Apple's First Foldable iPhone to Launch Simultaneously in Israel and US
Apple is expected to unveil its first foldable iPhone, potentially named the iPhone Ultra, alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max models on September 9. According to a report by Geektime, citing industry sources, Israel is anticipated to be included in the initial launch wave for these new devices.
This inclusion would mean that customers in Israel could receive the new iPhones at the same time as customers in the United States. Israeli distributors are reportedly preparing to launch marketing campaigns immediately after the announcement event, with pre-orders expected to open on September 12 and initial deliveries to customers in Israel commencing on September 18.
However, Apple has not yet officially confirmed these dates or Israel's inclusion in the first launch group. The company has only confirmed the September 9 announcement event, leaving the specific sales and delivery timelines as speculative until an official release.
The standard iPhone 18 model is not expected to be released until sometime in 2027. The foldable iPhone is expected to be the centerpiece of the upcoming launch event.
