Man Dies After Collapsing at Jerusalem Urgent Care Center
A 53-year-old man collapsed and died Tuesday at the "Terem" urgent care center in Jerusalem after a prolonged resuscitation attempt. According to Terem officials, the man was healthy with no known pre-existing conditions.
Noa Hirsh, Terem's Jerusalem district manager, stated that the man arrived at the reception desk complaining of chest pains and a severe burning sensation in his throat before immediately collapsing. He was moved to the trauma room where medical teams began advanced and extended resuscitation efforts. An MDA (Magen David Adom) ambulance was dispatched to the scene, but all medical teams' efforts were unsuccessful, and his death was pronounced.
