Man Arrested in Holon for Alleged Online Sexual Exploitation of 13-Year-Old
A 34-year-old resident of Holon was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of engaging in sexual contact with a 13-year-old girl online and attempting to solicit sexual acts from her. His detention was extended by three days following a court hearing, until Thursday.
The initial report was received by the police's 105 hotline, alleging that a suspect had contacted a minor online and demanded sexual acts. Police conducted an investigation to identify the individual, and officers from the Holon station located and arrested him on Tuesday morning. The investigation is ongoing.
This arrest follows a similar incident reported Monday, in which a 20-year-old from Bat Yam was apprehended for allegedly committing sexual offenses against minors online. In that case, the suspect is accused of posing as a minor to contact girls on social media and committing sexual offenses against them. His detention was also extended until Thursday, and that investigation continues.
