Yair Golan Urges Israeli Arabs to Vote Against Netanyahu
The Democratic Party, led by Yair Golan, is intensifying its campaign targeting Israeli Arab citizens to boost their participation in the upcoming legislative elections scheduled for October 27. In a video released in Arabic, Golan directly linked Arab voter mobilization to the political future of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He stated, "If you go to vote on October 27, Netanyahu will not be prime minister. But if you do not vote, he will be." Golan emphasized, "Not voting is like giving your vote to Netanyahu. The power is in your hands."
Fellow lawmaker Gilad Kariv echoed a similar message, particularly aimed at new voters. Kariv urged, "Those who do not vote are actually voting for Ben-Gvir. Do not give this price to this racist fascist." The Democratic Party aims to leverage the Arab population's turnout as a key strategy to unseat the current coalition government.
