Democrats Chair Yair Golan Urges Arab Citizens to Vote in Upcoming Israeli Elections

Yair Golan, chairman of the Israeli political party The Democrats, has called on Arab citizens to actively participate in the upcoming Knesset elections by casting their votes. In a message delivered in Arabic and shared on the party’s Facebook channel targeting the Arab community, Golan emphasized the critical importance of the Arab vote. He encouraged voters to turn out in large numbers, stating, "If any prime minister claims Arabs are flocking to the polls by bus, tell him yes, we are flocking to the polls."

Golan clarified that he is not instructing the Arab public to vote for The Democrats specifically, but rather to exercise their right to vote and be influential in shaping the next government. He stressed the significance of Arab participation in determining Israel’s political future, saying, "If you are not partners in deciding the makeup of the next government, where will we end up? This is a decisive moment in the history of the State of Israel. We must rise to the occasion."
