Pedestrian Killed in Early Morning Road Accident in Western Galilee
A man, approximately 40 years old, was killed early Tuesday morning in a fatal traffic accident on Highway 85 near Jadeidi-Makr in the Western Galilee. The pedestrian was struck by a vehicle.
Emergency medical services received the report at 5:21 AM and responded to the scene. Paramedics found the man lying on the road, unconscious, with no pulse or respiration. They performed medical examinations but determined his injuries were too severe and pronounced him dead at the scene. The victim sustained severe, multi-system trauma.
Traffic police investigators were called to the location and have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the fatal collision. The exact cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
