Hapoel Be'er Sheva Slams Referees for 'Stealing the Show'

Hapoel Be'er Sheva has issued strong criticism against the officiating team, led by referee Yigal Fried, following their match on Monday at Turner Stadium. Club officials stated, "They must understand that they are not the show." The team expressed particular frustration over the red card issued to midfielder Eliel Peretz, arguing that a second yellow card, which led to his expulsion, was unnecessary and effectively decided the game. Peretz himself maintains that Fried failed to stop play when Miguel Vítor sustained an injury, contrasting this with what he perceived would be a different reaction if Maccabi Tel Aviv were involved. After receiving his first yellow card, Peretz reportedly told Fried, "What are you giving a yellow for? You have no idea. You came to steal the show."
