During a wild first half between Hapoel Be'er Sheva and Maccabi Tel Aviv on Sunday, Eliel Peretz received an unusual red card in the 44th minute. Peretz was initially shown a yellow card by referee Yigal Fried for excessive talking. Immediately after, still angered, he continued to argue with the official and received a second yellow card within seconds, resulting in his expulsion from the match.
