Gal Gadot Stars in Underwhelming El Al Safety Video

Israeli actress Gal Gadot has recently appeared in two notable screen roles, one in the action film "The Runner" and another in a new safety video for El Al airlines. While "The Runner," an 85-minute film available on Amazon Prime Video, showcases Gadot traversing London, the reviewer found it derivative of Danny Boyle's style, though he appreciated its scenic tour of London's renovated areas and Gadot's performance, comparing her to Tom Cruise.

However, the El Al safety video, co-starring Rotem Sela, received harsh criticism. The reviewer lamented the decline from El Al's previous acclaimed safety video featuring mentalist Lior Suchard, which was praised for its creativity and effectiveness. The new video, which reportedly also features other Israeli stars like Deni Avdija and Lior Raz on flights to the US, centers on artificial intelligence and features Gadot and Sela taking different types of trips. The reviewer described the video as "terrible," "cheap," and "amateurish," criticizing its lazy writing and uninspired concept, particularly the forced wordplay in the Hebrew version. He suggested that Gadot, despite her star power, should have "run away" from the project due to its low production value and poor script, advising El Al to scrap it.
