Henti Accuses Opponent of Racist Chants Near Referee
Hapoel Rishon LeZion player Ezekiel Henti has accused Bnei Yehuda's Matan Levi of making monkey chants directed at him during their 0-0 draw in the National League on Monday. Henti stated in an Instagram post that the alleged racist remarks were made very close to the referee, who denied hearing them.
Henti expressed his disappointment that such behavior is tolerated without punishment, especially in light of ongoing efforts to combat racism in football. While he claims to be unfazed by insults from opposing fans, he considers racist chants from a fellow player to be completely unacceptable.
