Likud Youth Chairwoman Sings to Opponent to Unite Right-Wing Parties

Hadar Muchtar, the newly appointed chairwoman of the Likud youth wing, appeared on the "Meet the Press" program last Saturday. During the interview, Muchtar addressed Ofer Winter, chairman of the "Am Israel" party, who had submitted his party's list to the Central Elections Committee earlier that day for the upcoming Knesset elections. Muchtar urged Winter to unite with other right-wing parties to avoid splitting the vote, choosing a unique method to convey her message: she wrote and performed a song for him.

Muchtar's song pleaded with Winter to "wake up" and "connect," noting that while other right-wing factions like Feiglin and Smotrich had united, Winter seemed "tired" and unwilling to join. She urged him to "lower his chin" and "release his ego" for the sake of unity.

Despite Muchtar's appeal, Winter had previously dismissed the possibility of unification after submitting his party's list. His list includes prominent figures such as advocacy activist Josef Haddad in second place, former presenter Netali Shem Tov in third, and Eran Ben-Ari. Winter stated that his "Am Israel" party, launched just two weeks prior, has become a significant player by representing a broad spectrum of the population and advocating for genuine right-wing policies, including military decisiveness, integrating Haredim into the IDF, and full support for soldiers without compromise.

Winter expressed confidence that his party would be the surprise of the elections, though most polls indicate he will not pass the electoral threshold.
