Bereaved Parents Urge Right-Wing Leader Ofer Winter to Unite Parties

Leaders of the "Hahomah" (The Wall) forum, Eliab Levi and Yehoshua Sherman, have appealed to Ofer Winter, chairman of the "Amcha Israel" party, urging him to unite with other right-wing parties ahead of the upcoming elections. The appeal warns that wasted votes within the national camp could pave the way for a left-wing government supported by Arab parties, thereby jeopardizing the achievements of settlement in Judea and Samaria. "Sit in a closed room with the heads of other right-wing parties, and do not leave until you unite," the forum leaders wrote to Winter.

The forum called on Winter to leverage his combat and command experience and set aside personal considerations for the sake of a political union on the right. They also referenced the expansion of settlements in recent years, including the establishment of new farms and communities in open areas, and the aspiration to annul the Oslo Accords and apply Israeli sovereignty. The forum leaders contend that if right-wing votes are lost in the election, these achievements could be harmed. They stated that uniting forces on the right is the necessary step to preserve the future of the settlements.
