Bereaved Fathers Urge Ofer Winter to Unite Right-Wing Parties

Leaders of the "Home" forum, Eliab Levi and Yehoshua Sherman, representing bereaved fathers, have appealed to Ofer Winter, chairman of the "Am Israel" party. They expressed deep concern over Winter's insistence on not negotiating with other right-wing party leaders, fearing it could lead to a waste of right-wing votes.

This potential vote dilution, they warned, might pave the way for a left-wing government reliant on Arab factions, which could severely harm settlement efforts in Judea and Samaria. The forum highlighted recent expansion of settlements, including new farms and outposts, and the aspiration to abandon the Oslo Accords framework and establish Israeli sovereignty.

According to the forum's analysis, losing right-wing votes jeopardizes these achievements and the nation's security. They urged Winter to leverage his military background and prioritize political unity over personal considerations.

"Sit in a closed room with other right-wing party leaders, and don't leave until you unite," the letter stated. The forum concluded that consolidating forces is the only necessary step to ensure the continued prosperity of settlements and the security of future generations.
