New Poll Shows Gadi Eisenkot's Party Leading, Netanyahu's Likud Weakening

A new poll released by Channel 12 News indicates that if elections were held today, Gadi Eisenkot's party, Yishar, would emerge as the largest faction with 25 seats, one seat more than in the previous survey. The "change bloc" supporting the current government has weakened, now standing at 68 seats. Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud party has dropped from 23 to 21 seats, while Naftali Bennett's party also lost two seats, reaching a low of 13.

Yair Golan's Democrats maintained their strength with 11 seats, and Avigdor Lieberman's Yisrael Beiteinu lost one seat to secure 8. United Torah Judaism, led for the first time by Yaakov Asher, also holds 8 seats. The Joint List, headed by Yosef Jabareen, received 7 seats, as did Aryeh Deri's Shas party. Bezalel Smotrich and Moshe Feiglin's Religious Zionism and Identity party garnered 6 seats. Mansour Abbas's Ra'am secured 4 seats, and Ofer Winter's Am Israel party also received 4 seats.

Parties falling below the electoral threshold include Yoaz Hendel and Yaron Zelekha's newly merged Miluimnikim and Ha'kolkalit Ha'khadasha with 2.7%, Motty Leitner's Haredi Public with 1.1%, and Benny Gantz's Blue and White with 1%. Avi Maoz's Noam L'Yisrael received 0.2%, Rula Daoud and Alon Li-Green's Makom L'Kulanu got 0.1%, and Sharan Hash'kal's Yisrael Tkhila garnered 0.0%.

The poll also surveyed voter preferences for prime minister. When compared against Netanyahu, Eisenkot received 42% of the vote compared to Netanyahu's 35%. In a head-to-head with Bennett, Netanyahu led with 38% to Bennett's 35%. Against Lieberman, Netanyahu held a 37% to 25% advantage.

Approximately 11.5% of respondents are undecided. The survey, conducted by Midgam Research, involved 503 respondents and has a maximum margin of error of 4.4%.
