New Poll Shows Gadi Eisenkot's Party Leading, Netanyahu's Likud Weakening

A new poll released by Channel 12 News indicates that if elections were held today, Gadi Eisenkot's party, "Yashar," would emerge as the largest party with 25 Knesset seats, one seat more than in the previous survey. The "change bloc," opposing Benjamin Netanyahu, has weakened by two seats, now standing at 68 mandates. Netanyahu's Likud party also saw a decline, dropping from 23 to 21 seats. Naftali Bennett's "Together" party also weakened by two seats, reaching a low of 13 mandates.

Other parties' projected seat counts include Yair Golan's "Democrats" with 11 seats, Avigdor Lieberman's "Yisrael Beiteinu" with 8 seats, and United Torah Judaism, led by Yaakov Asher, also with 8 seats. The Joint List, under Yosef Jabareen, is projected to receive 7 seats, as is Shas led by Aryeh Deri. Bezalel Smotrich and Moshe Feiglin's "Religious Zionism and Identity" would secure 6 seats, while Mansour Abbas's Ra'am and Ofer Winter's "Am Yisrael" each receive 4 seats.

Several parties are projected to fall below the electoral threshold, including Yoaz Hendel and Yaron Zelekha's "HaMeyulim VeHaKolkalit HaHadasha" with 2.7%, Motty Leitner's "HaHaredi HaTziburi" with 1.1%, and Benny Gantz's "Blue and White" with 1%. Avi Maoz's "Noam L'Yisrael" received 0.2%, Rula Daoud and Alon Li-Green's "Makom LeKulanu" 0.1%, and Sharan Haskel's "Yisrael Tfila" 0.0%.

In terms of leadership suitability, Eisenkot polled at 42% for prime minister, compared to Netanyahu's 35%. When comparing Bennett and Netanyahu, Netanyahu led with 38% to Bennett's 35%. In a comparison between Netanyahu and Lieberman, Netanyahu garnered 37% to Lieberman's 25%.

Approximately 11.5% of respondents remain undecided about their vote. The survey, conducted by Midgam Research, involved 503 respondents and has a maximum margin of error of 4.4%.
