Hapoel Tel Aviv Dominates Hapoel Ramat Gan 4-0 Ahead of Derby

Hapoel Tel Aviv continued their strong start to the season with a decisive 4-0 victory over Hapoel Ramat Gan at Bloomfield Stadium on Monday. The win propelled Hapoel Tel Aviv to at least second place in the league standings after the third round of matches.

Under coach Eliniv Barda, the team, fresh off a 3-0 win against Beitar Jerusalem, made only one lineup change, with Shahar Piven starting in place of Marcus Coco, who was sidelined with a minor injury. Hapoel Ramat Gan, meanwhile, faced another tough challenge after opening losses to Maccabi Haifa and Hapoel Be'er Sheva.

Hapoel Tel Aviv controlled the game from the outset, but struggled to create clear chances in the first half, with goalkeeper Amit Reif making a significant save against Stav Turiel. The second half saw a dramatic shift as Hapoel Tel Aviv's offense broke through.

Emmanuel Boateng opened the scoring in the 57th minute, assisted by Roei Alkukim, after an earlier missed opportunity. Douglas Owusu then extended the lead in the 74th minute with an impressive individual effort, marking his continued strong form since joining the club. The team added two more goals later in the second half, with Twaito scoring an own goal and Maymbo adding another, completing the rout.
