Israeli Dance Duo Wins Four Gold Medals at World Cup

Israeli dancers Tomer Margalit, who dances in a wheelchair, and Oral Kalaf, a dancer and choreographer, have achieved a remarkable success at the World Dance Cup held in Slovakia, securing four gold medals. The victories came in four different categories: Latin style and freestyle, both in individual and pairs competitions. The duo trains under choreographer Yelena Feitlicher and are the reigning world champions from 2025, continuing their successful competition season.

"After countless hours of training, preparation, pressure, and sacrifice, we came to the World Cup to compete at the highest level and represent our country on the international stage," Margalit stated. "We are returning home with an amazing achievement, four gold medals."

Margalit further expressed her pride, highlighting a particularly meaningful moment: "I am so proud of what Oral and I have achieved, but there is one moment that will always be even more significant to me than the medals, standing in first place on the podium, representing my country and hearing the anthem, especially during this time, is a privilege we will never take for granted.
