Zutchka Rebbe Urges Repentance and Shabbat Observance Ahead of High Holidays
Hundreds of Zutchka Hasidim gathered on Saturday night for the first Selichot prayers of the season, led by their Rebbe, in the Hasidic community's new hall in Bnei Brak. Before the prayers, the Rebbe delivered an impassioned address, urging the congregation towards complete repentance and self-improvement ahead of the upcoming Day of Judgment.
He particularly emphasized the importance of reconciliation and fostering peace among people, alongside meticulous observance of Shabbat. The Rebbe highlighted that this year, with Rosh Hashanah falling on Shabbat, observing the Sabbath according to Halakha (Jewish law) would serve as a powerful intercessor for the entire Jewish people, bringing about salvation and favorable decrees.
Following his address, the Rebbe led the prayers with deep emotion and longing, reciting the ancient, moving liturgy passed down through generations within the Hasidic court.
