מאות חסידי זוטשקא התכנסו בבני ברק לאמירת סליחות ראשונות לקראת ראש השנה, במעמד שנערך לראשונה בהיכל הטישים החדש של החסידות. האדמו"ר מזוטשקא נשא דברי חיזוק ועורר את הקהל לתשובה, פיוס ושלום בין אדם לחברו, לצד שמירת שבת קודש.

האדמו"ר הדגיש כי השנה, כאשר ראש השנה חל בשבת, שמירת השבת כהלכתה תהווה "מליץ טוב" ותפעל ישועות וגזירות טובות עבור כלל ישראל. לאחר דבריו, עמד האדמו"ר לפני התיבה ואמר את הסליחות בנוסח המסורתי של החסידות.
