Golani Recon Unit Kills Hezbollah Militant in Beaufort Clash, IDF Strikes Back
An intense face-to-face encounter occurred in the Beaufort area when soldiers from the Golani Reconnaissance Unit engaged a Hezbollah militant. The militant was located in a structure and initiated the firefight by opening fire on the Israeli soldiers. The Israeli forces responded bravely and swiftly, closing the distance and neutralizing the attacker.
During the exchange of fire, two IDF soldiers sustained light injuries and were evacuated to a hospital for medical treatment. Their families have been notified. Immediately following the clash, Israeli forces fired precision artillery shells at the location where the militant had been hiding.
In parallel, the IDF launched a broad wave of strikes across the region, targeting Hezbollah's weapons storage facilities, command centers, and other terror infrastructure.
