Settler Critically Wounded in Stabbing Attack East of Nablus
A settler sustained serious injuries on Monday morning after being stabbed at an outpost near the town of Usarin, east of Nablus in the occupied West Bank. Following the incident, Israeli forces imposed a cordon on surrounding villages, claiming the attack was carried out by a Palestinian. Israeli reports suggest the assailant arrived at a farm, stabbed the settler multiple times, and then fled the scene. The Magen David Adom (MDA) reported that paramedics and army medical personnel provided initial treatment to the 20-year-old settler, whose injuries were classified as serious to moderate. In response, Israeli forces, including reinforcements from the army and police, were deployed to the area. They initiated a manhunt for the Palestinian suspect and established roadblocks and a blockade on roads leading to nearby villages.
