Palestinian Teen Killed in Clash Near Qalqilya
A 20-year-old Palestinian man, Omar Muhammad Tubasi, was killed during clashes in the village of Hajja, east of Qalqilya, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health. The incident involved local residents, Israeli settlers, and IDF soldiers, as reported by WAFA.
According to Ynet, the confrontation began when settlers launched a drone over the village, which residents then attempted to shoot down by throwing stones. When settlers entered the village to retrieve the drone, clashes erupted. IDF soldiers who arrived at the scene reportedly opened fire on Palestinians throwing stones at them.
The Palestinian Red Crescent stated that at least two individuals were wounded by live ammunition. One sustained a head injury and later died, while the second suffered a severe chest wound. Palestinian sources also claim that settlers fired weapons during the confrontation. The IDF has not yet officially commented on the incident.
