Nova Festival Survivors and Released Hostages Dance at Auschwitz
Survivors of the Nova music festival massacre and former hostages released from Gaza participated in a "journey of atonement" in Poland, organized by the "Jewish Connection" organization. During the trip, participants visited the Auschwitz extermination camp sites.
Standing before the former death camp, the group danced and sang the song "Am Yisrael Lo Mifached Miderech Arocha" (The Jewish people are not afraid of a long road). The event aimed to foster a sense of solidarity and remembrance among those who endured the Hamas attacks of October 7th and the subsequent captivity.
The journey brought together individuals who experienced the horrors of the Nova festival attack and those who were held captive in Gaza, creating a shared space for processing trauma and reaffirming their resilience.
