Netivot Mayor Praises Finance Minister Smotrich as Best Ever

Netivot Mayor Yehiel Zohar lauded Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich during a joint tour of the city, praising his work for Netivot and the Negev region. "There hasn't been a better finance minister than you, and likely never will be," Zohar stated, urging support for Smotrich to continue his term after the upcoming elections.

Zohar described Smotrich as the best finance minister Israel has ever had, emphasizing the significant budgets allocated to Netivot and the South during his tenure. "His fingerprints are everywhere, including in Netivot, and with a lot of money," Zohar remarked, calling for efforts to ensure Smotrich's return to the Finance Ministry.

Smotrich, in turn, thanked Zohar, commending his work as mayor and expressing pleasure in assisting Netivot and the southern region. "The development momentum you are leading in Netivot is amazing, I wish everyone would learn from you," Smotrich added.

Zohar's endorsement follows similar expressions of support for Smotrich and the Religious Zionism party from other local authority heads, including the mayors of Kiryat Malakhi, Sderot, Lod, Ashkelon, and the head of the Jordan Valley Regional Council.
