Ofer Winter's Party Threshold May Decide Next Israeli Prime Minister

Channel 12 political analyst Amit Segal believes the upcoming election hinges on whether retired Brigadier General Ofer Winter's new party can pass the electoral threshold. Segal stated that the 51 days remaining until the election are crucial for Winter's party, framing its success or failure as the "smallest-biggest question" in the election.

Segal presented a dramatic political balance dependent on Winter's electoral performance. He explained that if Winter's party falls slightly below the 3.25% electoral threshold, former IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot could potentially become prime minister. Conversely, if Winter's party successfully crosses the threshold, Eisenkot's chances of becoming prime minister would be significantly diminished, according to Segal.
