Senior Pollster Warns Ofer Winter May Not Pass Election Threshold

Senior pollster Dr. Menachem Lazar, CEO of Lazar Research and pollster for Maariv, has stated that Ofer Winter's political party is currently not crossing the electoral threshold in polls, and even when it does, it is by a very slim margin. Lazar explained on 103FM radio that Winter's fluctuating position and lack of clear messaging regarding potential alliances are causing his support to waver and put the entire right-wing bloc at risk.

According to political commentators, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has decided to engage in a direct political confrontation with Winter ahead of the elections. This move is reportedly due to Winter's unwillingness to unite with other factions within the bloc, a situation that could lead to the loss of critical votes.

Lazar elaborated that Winter's precarious standing, hovering around the 3.25% electoral threshold, could lead to a collapse of the right-wing bloc if his party fails to secure enough votes. He emphasized that any statements about potential mergers could further destabilize Winter's support base, as voters lack a definitive message.
