New Poll Shows Ofer Winter's Party Falling Below Threshold, Right Bloc Holds Steady

A new poll from Channel 14 indicates that Ofer Winter's "Am Yisrael" party has fallen below the electoral threshold, garnering only 2.7% of the vote, a significant drop from its previous showing of 4 seats in an earlier survey. Despite this shift, the right-wing bloc maintains its strength, securing 63 seats in the Knesset.

The Likud party continues to lead with 31 seats, followed by Benny Gantz's National Unity party, which saw a decrease of two seats to 22. Shas is projected to receive 10 seats.

The "Achva" party shows a notable surge, increasing from 6 to 9 seats. The Democrats and United Torah Judaism each receive 8 seats, with the latter gaining one seat since the last poll. The joint list of Religious Zionism and Identity secures 7 seats, as do Otzma Yehudit and the Arab joint list of Hadash-Ta'al-Balad. Yisrael Beiteinu weakens from 7 to 6 seats, and Ra'am receives 5 seats.

Besides "Am Yisrael," other parties failing to cross the threshold include "Tzivoni"/"HaMila'im" with 1.3%, Blue and White with 1.2%, Noam with 0.3%, and "HaAchdut" with 0.1%.

In terms of leadership suitability, Benjamin Netanyahu remains the preferred choice for Prime Minister, with 50% of respondents favoring him, compared to 32% for Gadi Eisenkot, 16% for Naftali Bennett (a significant increase from 10% previously), and 2% for Avigdor Lieberman. In a direct head-to-head, Netanyahu leads Eisenkot 54% to 46%.

The poll was conducted on September 3, 2026, by NEXT DATA among 865 adults, with data analysis by Shlomo Filber.
