Hadassah Medical Center CEO Prof. Yoram Weiss's Term Extended by Two Years
The Board of Directors of Hadassah Medical Center and the Women's Zionist Organization of America (Hadassah International) have approved a two-year extension for Professor Yoram Weiss's tenure as CEO. His term will now continue until at least the end of July 2028.
Professor Weiss, an expert in intensive care and anesthesia, has been associated with Hadassah Medical Center for 31 years. During his extensive career at the institution, he has held numerous key clinical and managerial positions, including Head of the Anesthesia and Intensive Care Department and Director of Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital.
He initially stepped into the role of Acting CEO of Hadassah in July 2021, following the departure of Professor Zeev Rotstein. Approximately one year later, he was officially appointed as the permanent CEO.
The extension signifies confidence in his leadership and continued strategic direction for the medical center.
