Kiryat Bialik Officials Visit Polish Twin City for 760th Anniversary

A delegation from the Kiryat Bialik municipality has returned from an official visit to its twin city, Radomsko, Poland, which was celebrating its 760th anniversary. The Israeli representatives, Deputy Mayor Anat Vorembrand and Municipal Center Director Udi Halperin, were warmly welcomed alongside delegations from other partner cities in Ukraine, Latvia, and Hungary.

During the visit, the Kiryat Bialik officials met with Radomsko Mayor Jaroslaw Franz and his deputy, Malgorzata Kanska-Kipigroch, to discuss strengthening relations and expanding joint projects. The itinerary included visits to the Museum of Polish History and the memory of the Holocaust, tours of Mirow Castle and the city center of Częstochowa, a formal meeting at the city's cultural center, and participation in the 760th-anniversary celebrations.

Radomsko Mayor Franz emphasized the importance of maintaining bilateral ties, especially after recent international challenges, and called for deeper cooperation in education, culture, sports, and economic development. Deputy Mayor Vorembrand concluded the visit by stating, "We returned full of pride for the opportunity to represent Kiryat Bialik and the State of Israel. Especially in this complex period, connections between cities and people have special importance in building bridges, deepening acquaintance, and promoting joint initiatives for the benefit of both communities."
