Emergency Rescue Unit in Pardes Hanna-Karkur Completes Advanced Training

The Pardes Hanna-Karkur Local Council has enhanced its emergency preparedness by completing the second phase of advanced training for its volunteer Search and Rescue (SAR) Unit 2. The intensive training exercise took place at a dedicated demolition site and focused on utilizing specialized equipment and innovative rescue techniques.

The training was conducted under the close supervision of the Home Front Command and the local council's Security, Emergency, and Enforcement Department. During the drill, volunteers, who are active in the community during normal times, faced complex real-life scenarios. These included locating and extracting individuals trapped in collapsed structures, operating advanced rescue tools, and providing immediate first aid to injured individuals on site.

The council praised the unit's volunteers for their dedication and perseverance throughout the training. They also expressed gratitude to the security department teams and Home Front Command representatives for their professional collaboration, which is crucial for strengthening the community's resilience and initial response capabilities during emergencies.
