IDF Strikes Hezbollah Targets in Southern Lebanon, Including Command Post in Former Hospital

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) conducted airstrikes in southern Lebanon on Sunday, targeting Hezbollah operatives and infrastructure. The strikes were a response to Hezbollah launching two explosive drones towards IDF forces operating in the Mount Dov area, which caused no casualties among the Israeli troops.

During the operation, the Israeli Air Force attacked weapons depots and terror infrastructure intended for Hezbollah operatives to plan and direct terror attacks. Notably, the IDF also struck a Hezbollah command center that had been established within a building previously used as a hospital in southern Lebanon. According to the IDF, Hezbollah operatives had recently been using this command center for observation and artillery activities.

The IDF stated that all targets were attacked after Hezbollah operatives advanced terror plans against IDF forces and Israeli civilians. The military accused the organization of using medical infrastructure to advance its terror activities. The strikes followed an incident on Saturday where Hezbollah launched two explosive drones toward IDF forces in the Mount Dov area.

The IDF emphasized that precautionary measures were taken to minimize civilian harm, including the use of precision munitions and aerial surveillance. The military affirmed its continued operations in the area, vowing to prevent terrorists from advancing and executing terror plots against Israeli forces.
