Israel Strikes Hezbollah Command Center in Former Hospital
The Israeli military announced Sunday that it had attacked Hezbollah terrorists and infrastructure in southern Lebanon. Among the targets struck by the Israeli Air Force were weapons storage facilities and terrorist structures intended for planning and directing attacks. Notably, the IDF also targeted a Hezbollah command center that had been established within a former hospital building in southern Lebanon.
According to the IDF, Hezbollah operatives had been using the command center for observation and artillery activities. The military stated that all targets were attacked to neutralize threats, particularly after the organization advanced terror plans against IDF forces and Israeli civilians from this location.
These strikes were a response to a Hezbollah drone attack attempt on Saturday against IDF forces operating in the Ali Taher ridge area. Two explosive drones were launched toward the forces, but no Israeli soldiers were injured. The IDF stated that the recent attacks were carried out to remove the threat posed by Hezbollah's activities.
