Israel Strikes Hezbollah Targets in Southern Lebanon After Drone Attacks

The Israeli military conducted airstrikes against Hezbollah operatives and infrastructure in southern Lebanon on Sunday. These strikes were a direct response to Hezbollah's launch of two explosive drones the previous day towards Israeli forces operating in the Mount Dov area. No Israeli soldiers were injured in either incident.

During the retaliatory operation, the Israeli Air Force targeted weapons storage facilities and terrorist structures intended for Hezbollah operatives to plan and direct terror attacks. Additionally, the IDF struck a Hezbollah command post that had been established within a building previously used as a hospital in southern Lebanon. According to the IDF, Hezbollah operatives had recently been using this command post for observation and artillery activities.

The IDF stated that all targeted sites were attacked to neutralize threats, particularly after Hezbollah operatives advanced terror plans against IDF forces and Israeli civilians. The military emphasized that Hezbollah is utilizing medical infrastructure to advance its terror operations. The strikes were carried out following Hezbollah's attempted operation on Saturday, which involved launching the two explosive drones at Israeli forces on Mount Dov.
