Beitar Jerusalem Sets Condition for Yarin Levi Transfer Talks

Beitar Jerusalem has outlined a condition for opening negotiations to reacquire midfielder Yarin Levi from Maccabi Haifa. The club, currently trying to strengthen its squad before the transfer window closes, is keen to bring back Levi, who was on loan for the past two seasons and impressed during his time with the team. The primary requirement for Beitar to enter discussions is a clear statement from Maccabi Haifa indicating its willingness to negotiate a transfer for the player. This stance comes amid recent events where approximately 20 club fans breached the team's training complex.

Levi joined Beitar Jerusalem in the summer of 2024 and quickly became a key player. He made 72 appearances for the club, scoring two goals and providing three assists. His performance made him an essential part of the squad under coach Barak Itzhaki, contributing to the team's second-place finish in the league last season. Beitar Jerusalem has confirmed efforts are underway to bring Levi back, but coach Barak Abramov, who holds Maccabi Haifa owner Yaakov Shahar in high regard, will only engage if Maccabi Haifa signals openness to a deal.
