Beitar Jerusalem Sets Condition for Yarin Levi Transfer Talks

Beitar Jerusalem is seeking to strengthen its squad before the transfer window closes, with Maccabi Haifa midfielder Yarin Levi emerging as a potential target. Levi has been on loan to Beitar for the past two seasons, becoming a key player in their second-place finish last year under coach Barak Itzhaki. The club has confirmed efforts to bring him back.

However, Beitar Jerusalem has stated that negotiations will only commence if Maccabi Haifa provides a clear indication that they are willing to discuss a transfer for Levi. This condition is reportedly linked to Beitar's owner, Barak Abramov, who holds Maccabi Haifa's chairman, Yaakov Shahar, in high regard.

Levi joined Beitar in the summer of 2024 and has made 72 appearances, scoring two goals and providing three assists. His performances have made him a vital part of the team. The club's pursuit of Levi comes amidst internal turmoil, following an incident where approximately 20 fans broke into the team's training complex on Saturday.
