Apartment Sales Across Israel Show Stable Prices Amidst Slow Market
Israel's housing market is demonstrating price stability, following a minor 0.1% increase in the Central Bureau of Statistics' housing price index for May-June. Analysts anticipate this stability will continue into the July-August period, despite a significant slowdown in real estate transactions.
To provide insight into the current market conditions, a review of second-hand apartment sales over the past week was conducted with major real estate agencies. In Rehovot, a 5-room apartment measuring 127 square meters on the fifth floor of a five-story building, featuring a 24-square-meter balcony, elevator, parking, and storage, sold for 2.8 million shekels. Another 5-room apartment in Rehovot, also 127 square meters on the first floor of a nine-story building with a 12-square-meter balcony and elevator, was sold for 3.17 million shekels.
Further transactions included a 4-room apartment in Netanya, spanning 139 square meters on the eighth floor of an eleven-story building, which sold for 3.4 million shekels. In Be'er Sheva, a 5-room apartment in the Neve Ze'ev neighborhood, measuring 141 square meters on the sixth floor of a nine-story building with a 10-square-meter balcony, elevator, parking, and a safe room, was sold for 1.44 million shekels.
Other sales reported include a 4-room garden apartment in Arad for 840,000 shekels, a 2-room apartment in Be'er Sheva for 610,000 shekels, and another 2-room apartment in Be'er Sheva for 830,000 shekels. Ramla saw a 4-room apartment sell for 1.79 million shekels, while Lod had a 3.5-room apartment sold for 1.23 million shekels. Holon recorded a 3-room apartment sale at 1.42 million shekels, and another 3-room apartment in Holon sold for 2.215 million shekels.
