Fauda Creator Slams Mark Ruffalo Over Gaza Remarks

Avi Issacharoff, co-creator of the popular Israeli television series "Fauda," has sharply criticized Hollywood actor Mark Ruffalo for his repeated accusations that Israel is committing "genocide" in Gaza.

Issacharoff called Ruffalo a "rare combination of ignorant and foolish" for his statements. He questioned Ruffalo's understanding of the term "genocide," pointing out that Israel allows hundreds of aid trucks into Gaza daily and that more people have been born in Gaza during the war than have died, suggesting Israel does not intend to destroy the Palestinian people. Issacharoff asserted that Hamas, not Israel, is the entity attempting genocide.

While Issacharoff admitted that such words might not sway those already convinced by Ruffalo's narrative, he expressed optimism that people will eventually understand the reality better and resist widespread slogans and lies. He stated his belief in a future where individuals will not succumb to misinformation.

Issacharoff, who lives in Israel, described himself as an optimist, suggesting his continued presence in the country is proof of this outlook. He hopes for a day when people grasp the truth more effectively.
