Actor Asaf Zaga Reveals Disrespectful Experience Filming 'Fauda' with Lead Star

Asaf Zaga, known for his role in the Israeli reality show 'The Amazing Race' and various TV series, shared an unpleasant experience from filming the fourth season of the hit series 'Fauda'. On his podcast 'Men in Black', Zaga recounted how a leading actor on the set ignored him completely during their first meeting, despite Zaga's excitement to work with him. He described the actor not greeting him and even questioning the director about Zaga's capabilities before filming a scene together, which left Zaga feeling disrespected and disillusioned with the industry.

Zaga did not name the actor directly, but it is widely believed he was referring to Lior Raz, the show's star. Businesswoman Shira Margalit responded to Zaga's comments, defending Raz as a hardworking and grounded professional who carries much of the show's production burden. She acknowledged the intense pressure on set and suggested Raz's behavior might have been due to stress rather than disrespect.

Co-host Shlomi Yifrah and guest Yaki Reisner, a film producer, supported Zaga's message about the importance of treating newcomers respectfully on set. Reisner emphasized that no matter how famous an actor is, disrespectful behavior towards less experienced colleagues is unacceptable and would not be tolerated on his productions.
