Sakhnin Striker Parschiv Out for Six Weeks With Muscle Tear
Bnei Sakhnin Football Club is facing a growing injury crisis as striker Daniel Parschiv has torn a muscle and will be sidelined for approximately six weeks. Parschiv, who joined the team about a month ago, recently started a match against Maccabi Petah Tikva after coming on as a substitute in a previous game against Maccabi Netanya. His injury adds to the team's woes, with other key players already on the sidelines.
Earlier, midfielder Norberto Carlos suffered a groin tear and is expected to be released by the club. Additionally, defender Dimitri Kabra's season ended prematurely due to a torn ACL and meniscus injury sustained against Maccabi Petah Tikva. These setbacks have impacted Sakhnin's start to the season, where they have secured only one point from their first two games.
Adding to the team's challenges, defender Ori Dahan will also miss the upcoming match against Beitar Jerusalem due to a prior agreement. However, Antonio Sefer might debut for Sakhnin in the same game.
In other club news, Sakhnin is reportedly in negotiations to sign a foreign defender. The club had previously been linked with French defender Enoch Kwateng, who played for Bulgarian club Botev Plovdiv last season, scoring four goals.
