Sakhnin Striker Parschiv Out for Six Weeks With Muscle Tear
Bnei Sakhnin Football Club is facing a significant injury crisis as striker Daniel Parschiv has torn a muscle and will be sidelined for approximately six weeks. Parschiv joins a growing list of injured players, including forward Dimitri Kabra, who suffered a season-ending ACL and meniscus tear, and midfielder Norberto Carlos, who is expected to be released after tearing a groin muscle.
Parschiv, a Romanian forward, recently signed with Sakhnin and had begun to feature in matches, starting against Maccabi Petah Tikva. His injury means he will miss the upcoming game against Beitar Jerusalem. Additionally, defender Ori Dahan will not play against Beitar Jerusalem due to a prior agreement, though new signing Antonio Sefer might make his debut for Sakhnin in that match.
The club is also actively seeking to sign a foreign defender. Earlier reports revealed negotiations with French defender Enoch Kwateng, who previously played for Bulgarian club Botev Plovdiv, scoring four goals last season. Sakhnin has had a slow start to the season, earning only one point from their first two matches, compounded by these injury setbacks.
