The Central District Prosecutor's Office filed an indictment today, Friday, against an Israeli citizen in the Lod Central District Court, accusing him of security offenses. The court permitted the release of limited information, stating that the suspect was arrested and interrogated by the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) and police on suspicion of security violations. Investigations revealed that the individual was allegedly operated by foreign intelligence entities and actively involved in foreign influence operations.
Following the completion of the investigation, the indictment was filed, and a request was made to keep the suspect in custody until the legal proceedings are concluded.
