Hapoel Tel Aviv Dominates rivals Beitar Jerusalem 3-0
Hapoel Tel Aviv secured their first win of the season in a decisive 3-0 victory over fierce rivals Beitar Jerusalem on Thursday night at Bloomfield Stadium. The win marked a strong start for Hapoel under coach Eliniv Barda, while Beitar Jerusalem suffered their second consecutive loss to open the season.
Hapoel took an early lead in the 17th minute when Stav Turi'al delivered a cross that Ro'i Alkokin headed into the net. The first half saw few other significant chances, with Hapoel maintaining their 1-0 advantage into halftime.
In the second half, Hapoel extended their lead. Osawu scored the second goal, and Daffa sealed the victory with the third, completing the 3-0 rout. Beitar Jerusalem, who had also lost their opening match of the season to Maccabi Netanya, failed to secure any points and were left disappointed after hoping to gain their first points at Bloomfield Stadium.
Adding to Beitar's struggles, Gadrani was sent off with a red card during the match. The result leaves Beitar Jerusalem at the bottom of the league standings with zero points after two games, while Hapoel Tel Aviv celebrates their initial success.
