Man Found Dead on Balcony in Ashkelon

On Thursday, a man in his 60s was found deceased on the balcony of his home on Menachem Begin Street in Ashkelon. ZAKA (Search and Rescue) volunteers from the Lachish region, specifically the Ashkelon team, responded to the scene. A neighbor in an adjacent building noticed the man sitting motionless on his balcony and alerted emergency services. Upon entering the apartment, responders found the man seated on a chair on the balcony, with a coffee cup and cigarette nearby. ZAKA volunteers handled the deceased with respect and ensured the body was released for burial.
