Elai Almogies Signs Two-Year Deal With Bnei Yehuda
Elai Almogies, a 26-year-old midfielder, has signed a two-year contract with Bnei Yehuda, a team in Israel's second division, the Liga Leumit. The signing was first reported by Sport Channel.
Almogies was once considered a significant prospect in Israeli football. His early career included stints in Europe with German club Hoffenheim, Dutch club Den Haag, and Austrian club Admira. During this period, he also made five appearances for the Israeli national team.
Since returning to Israel in 2023, after leaving Maccabi Haifa's youth academy in 2015, Almogies has played for several Israeli clubs. These include Bnei Sakhnin, Ironi Tiberias, and Maccabi Bnei Raina. His move to Bnei Yehuda marks a return to the second tier of Israeli football.
