Elai Elimelech Signs Two-Year Deal With Bnei Yehuda
Midfielder Elai Elimelech, 26, has signed a two-year contract with Bnei Yehuda, as was first reported by Sport 5. Elimelech, once considered a significant prospect in Israeli football, will play in the second division of Israeli football, the Liga Leumit, aiming to help the "Oranges" achieve promotion to the top league.
Elimelech's career has included stints in Europe with Hoffenheim, Den Haag, and Admira, and he has earned five caps for the Israeli national team. Since returning to Israel in 2023 after leaving Maccabi Haifa's youth academy in 2015, he has played for Bnei Sakhnin, Ironi Tiberias, and Maccabi Bnei Raina.
The signing marks a move to the second tier for the experienced midfielder.
